About the Role
As an AI Research Intern, you will explore emerging AI techniques and prototype systems that may be integrated into the OON Systems platform. You will work at the intersection of research and engineering, turning ideas into working prototypes.
Responsibilities
- Research and prototype AI techniques relevant to healthcare document processing and automation
- Experiment with LLMs, retrieval systems, and structured extraction methods
- Benchmark approaches and present findings to the engineering team
- Contribute to internal research documentation and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
- Strong understanding of deep learning fundamentals
- Experience reading and implementing ideas from research papers
- Proficiency in Python and at least one deep learning framework
Preferred Qualifications
- Published research or conference submissions
- Experience with transformer architectures, RAG, or agentic systems
- Familiarity with Hugging Face ecosystem
