About the Role
As a Machine Learning Intern, you will work with the ML team on data preparation, model training, evaluation, and experimentation. You will get hands-on experience with production ML systems applied to real healthcare data.
Responsibilities
- Assist in data cleaning, feature engineering, and dataset preparation
- Train and evaluate models under guidance from senior ML engineers
- Run experiments, analyze results, and document findings
- Help build evaluation pipelines and monitoring tools
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Coursework or projects in machine learning, statistics, or data science
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, or scikit-learn
- Strong quantitative reasoning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, or deep learning
- Research or project experience involving real datasets
