Software Engineering Intern

About the Role
As a Software Engineering Intern at OON Systems, you will contribute to real production systems from day one. You will work on backend services, frontend features, APIs, and internal tooling alongside full-time engineers.
This is a hands-on role for students who want to build production software in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the platform stack
- Write clean, tested code in TypeScript, Python, or similar languages
- Collaborate with engineers on architecture and code review
- Contribute to internal tools, automation, and developer experience improvements
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Solid programming fundamentals in at least one language
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic system design
- Eagerness to learn and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web development (React, Next.js, Node.js)
- Personal projects, open source contributions, or hackathon experience
- Familiarity with Git, testing, and deployment workflows
